Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Neuro – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week. 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week period. Anything over 48 hours qualifies for overtime.

Highlights:

• 32-bed Medical Surgical Neuro unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Rapid response team activation available for patient support
• No call required; floating to like units only as needed
• Epic charting system utilized
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year of recent experience
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending acceptable, must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required (pending acceptable)
• CPI certification preferred
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in medical surgical and neuro nursing skills including IV management, wound care, central line care, blood product administration, and stroke patient care
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
