Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg-Neurology unit position requiring a compact or IA RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Med/Surg-Neurology unit (6 North Neurology) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend/every other holiday rotation required
• 26-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or IA State)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Licensure verification must be dated within 30 days of start (Nursys for RNs)

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to med/surg and neurology patients on the unit
• Local candidates accepted at standard rates in select states, subject to facility-specific exceptions
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most locations, with some facility-specific exceptions
