We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Seattle, WA, specializing in Med Surg. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to work in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment.
Position / Specialty: RN / 6E MedSurg Ortho
Shift: Nights 3-12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30)
Duration: 13 weeks
Experience Required: 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with charge RN experience and Level I trauma experience being a plus. First-timers are accepted.
Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday days and Friday/Saturday nights).
Certifications Required: BCLS certification.
Floating Requirement: Yes, clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Local Candidates: Yes, local candidates are accepted.
This position primarily involves caring for orthopedic trauma patients, including spine injuries and femoral fractures, but may also include neuro and surgical patients. The unit is also the primary location for vascular, urology, and gynecological cases.
Facility Highlights:
Parking Information: Daily onsite parking costs $15 on weekdays (Monday-Friday), $4 on Saturdays and Sundays, and $5 for evenings. Offsite parking options are available with a shuttle service operational from 5 am to 10 pm, Monday to Friday, at a cost of $10/day.
