Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Orthopedic RN for a day shift position requiring ACLS certification and prior post-orthopedic surgery experience.

Details

• 24-bed Med/Surg Orthopedics unit
• RN ratios up to 6 patients per nurse
• Postoperative adult patient population recovering from orthopedic, total joint replacement, podiatry, and spine surgeries
• Length of stay varies based on surgery type and discharge needs
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous post-orthopedic surgery nursing experience preferred
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide postoperative nursing care to adult orthopedic surgical patients
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply affecting pay rate
