GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Montgomery, Alabama.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit. This position is ideal for both experienced RNs and first-time travelers, with a minimum of 18 months of experience required in MedSurg and/or ICU, along with EPIC or Cerner experience. This facility is a Level I Trauma Center and offers a supportive environment for nurses to thrive.
As a Med/Surg RN, you will be assigned a home unit on your first day of orientation. The typical patient ratio is 1:4, allowing for high-quality care and attention to each patient. You will be responsible for various tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living, wound care, medication administration, and patient documentation.

Support on the unit includes a CNA, charge nurse, and telemetry monitoring techs. Orientation for travelers includes 24 hours of classroom time and 24 hours on the unit. The schedule includes a weekend rotation and holiday expectations as outlined in the policy.
