This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Rotating weekends

Job Description

The MedSurg 4E unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the next 13 weeks. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a 32-bed unit focusing on Medical-Surgical Orthopedics. You will be an essential part of our healthcare team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures including but not limited to neurosurgeries and fracture repairs.
  • Manage patient care through assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient progress closely with a focus on acute care practices.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Active RN License.
  • Acute care experience, preferably in a med-surg setting.
  • Flexibility with schedule to accommodate rotating shifts.
