Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment on an oncology-focused unit, requiring an active TX or compact RN license and prior oncology experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit with an oncology patient population (6W1 SGONC)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required, valid for at least 30 days beyond start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg or Oncology nursing
• ONC (Oncology Nursing Certification) required for all RNs working in Oncology
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg and Oncology patients on the unit
