**Join Our Dynamic Medical-Surgical Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Contract Position**: 13 Weeks - **Shift**: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **No On-Call Required** - **BLS Certification Required** **Unit Highlights:** - **Location**: 4 East - **Building**: NAMC - **Floor**: 4th, East Wing - **Number of Beds**: 32 - **Staffing**: 50 Team Members **Staffing Overview:** - Day Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - 6 Registered Nurses - 3 Patient Care Technicians - Night Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - 5 Registered Nurses - 2 Patient Care Technicians **Patient Care Ratios:** - Day: 1:5 or 1:6 - Night: 1:6 or 1:7 **Equipment Utilized:** - Patient-Controlled Analgesics (PCAs) - On-Q Pumps - Hoyer Lifts - Traction Equipment - Wound Vacuums **EMR System**: Meditech **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Must-Have Skills**: - Acute care experience, preferably in med-surg - Flexibility with scheduling - **Preferred Skills**: - Experience with Meditech charting - Proficiency in: - NGT tubes - IV placement - Foley catheter management **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Neurosurgeries: kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy - Fracture repairs / Intramedullary nailing - General surgeries - Bariatric procedures: gastric sleeve - Bladder sling surgeries - Hysterectomies **Team and Work Environment:** - Foster strong time management skills - Be an upbeat team player - **Dress Code**: Navy blue scrubs **Awards and Recognition:** - Multiple HCA Unit of Distinction Awards - PRISM Award **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
