Job Description:

The RN will work on a Med/Surg unit with 30 beds, providing care to patients with various medical conditions. The role requires the use of equipment such as walkers and IV pumps. Documentation is done through the Meditech system, and nurses are expected to work four weekend shifts per 28-day schedule, participate in the holiday rotation, and float as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care within a 1:6 nurse to patient ratio
• Work collaboratively with Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, and Case Management

Requirements:

• RN license
• Teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
• Medical-Surgical experience including management of respiratory and renal diseases, GI illnesses, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and administration of heparin gtts
• BLS Certification
