Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to patients. This position requires compassion, critical thinking, and effective communication skills to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and streamline services.
• Document all care provided in compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Previous medical-surgical nursing experience is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Work Schedule

Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Availability to work varying shifts as needed is expected.
