**Join Our Dynamic Med/Surg Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - **Type:** Med/Surg Ortho 5 South - **Bed Capacity:** 29 beds (with overflow capability to 39) - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: Charge RN, 8 RNs, ACT from 10am-10pm - Night Shift: Charge RN, 8 RNs, ACT from 10am-10pm - **Patient Ratios:** 5:1 - **Equipment:** Remote telemetry - **EMR:** Meditech - **Ideal Candidate:** - **Must Have:** - Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience - BLS certification - **Preferred:** - ACLS certification - Prior Meditech experience - **Typical Procedures:** - Care for post-op surgical patients - Manage cardiac drips (e.g., amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin) - **Personality Fit:** - Hard worker - Fun personality - High energy - **Additional Information:** - Join a high-energy unit excited to welcome new teammates! - Work with the latest equipment and technology in a supportive environment!
