Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Med/Surg

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Med/Surg unit. This position offers an opportunity to provide excellent patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac medical/surgical unit.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing rounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiac or medical/surgical setting.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

This position will require working evening shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
