Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 2+ years of acute care experience and a Alabama or compact RN license.

Details

• 24-bed general medicine acute care unit
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• PM shift, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Float to other units within the acute care division
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active RN license (Alabama or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS (AHA only, American Red Cross not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Experience with BCMA and Cerner required
• Strong time management and interdisciplinary communication skills required

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to a general medicine patient population

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Fingernails must comply with TJC and CMS guidelines; closed-toe shoes with backs required
