Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Ortho RN for an evening shift position requiring 2+ years of recent experience and AL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg Ortho unit specializing in post-op surgical patients
• 30-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• PM shift from 18:45 to 07:15
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Strong time management, positive attitude, and reliable attendance required
• Preferred experience in Med/Surg, orthopedics, or post-op care

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to post-operative orthopedic and surgical patients in a fast-paced environment
• Bedside shift report required
• Navy scrubs required
• Fake, gel, wrapped, or dipped nails are not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
