Unit Information:

• Unit Name: 7 North-Spine
• Number of Beds: 18-20
• Number of Staff: 35
• Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-3 PCTs
• Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 with LPN
• Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, PCA
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: Minimum 1-year hospital Med/Surg experience, BLS certification
• Preferred: Burn Care experience, Wound Care, Ostomy Care experience, ACLS certification

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients
