Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfort with post-surgical and medical patients, including CIWA and pain management needs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for adult Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Care for post-surgical patients, including procedures such as cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
• Support patients with pain management and withdrawal-related care as needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and other members of the healthcare team
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Maintain a professional, energetic, and patient-focused approach throughout the shift
