Assignment Overview
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity environments and be adept at managing a diverse range of medical and surgical conditions. The role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Manage and provide comprehensive nursing care for patients on the medical surgical unit
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate medical records
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Qualifications
Required:
Current RN license in IL
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with Epic charting system
Experience with Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and Traumatic Brain Injury care
Preferred:
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
