Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 33-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
Perform routine med/surg procedures and assessments in accordance with unit standards
Complete and maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and unit secretaries
Fulfill patient experience requirements including completion of White Boards
Participate in floating rotation as needed alongside other travel staff

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Basic Medical Surgical knowledge and clinical competency
Current BLS certification
Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduling requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new unit environments and team dynamics
