**Join Our Dynamic Med Surg Team as an RN!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Name:** Medical Unit - **Location:** 5475 South 500 East, Building One - **Unit Details:** - 26 Patient Beds - Patient Ratios: 6:1 - Available Support: Techs on duty - **Equipment Used:** - Hoyer lifts - Rolling computers - Rolling Vital Signs machines - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Shift Information:** - Schedule: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month - **Floating Policy:** Potential to float to Surgical or Acute Rehab - **Experience Requirements:** - Med/Surg experience preferred - **Hiring Profile:** - **Required Skills:** - Basics of patient care - Knowledge of normal vital signs and lab values - Proficiency in medication administration and controlled substances - **Advanced Skills Required:** - NG/NJ tubes, chest tubes, heparin drips - **Procedures on Unit:** - Post-heart procedures returning from the cath lab - **Certifications:** - RN License (BSN preferred) - BLS Certification - **Dress Code:** Navy Blue Scrubs (tops and bottoms) - **Unit Recognition:** - Safety Catch Award (November) - Multiple DAISY Award recipients - **Additional Perks:** - Supportive and positive team environment - Extensive support for new staff - Opportunity to work with the latest technology and equipment **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
