Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with strong Ortho/Spine experience for a night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit within a hospital setting
• Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Unit supported by unit secretary, PCTs, and a Navigator
• Utilizes coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Charting is done in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• Floating required on a rotational basis

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong background in orthopedics required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
