Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving an adult and geriatric population (no pediatrics)
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 within a 16-bed Med/Surg unit
• Utilize Medhost EHR for documentation and patient management
• Work every other weekend or as needed based on unit scheduling
• Float as needed to the ACU (light ICU, no ventilator patients) on a PRN basis
• Adhere to facility dress code: solid-color scrubs; no fleece, hoodies, or non-scrub attire

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid to practice in Kentucky
• BLS certification required prior to start
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care experience
• Some rehabilitation nursing background
• Familiarity with lower-level acute and subacute rehab patient populations
