• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710–$1,800
• Location: Baltimore, Maryland

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Scheduling Highlights: No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
• Floating: May float to medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed

Med/Surg Telemetry Travel Nurse Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a valid compact nursing license
• At least 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience, including medical-surgical nursing and telemetry experience
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification or demonstrated competency, as required for the assignment
• Successful completion of a cardiac rhythm interpretation examination with a minimum overall score of 80% and a perfect score on lethal rhythms
• Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Cerner experience preferred
• Required seasonal influenza vaccination with no exemptions

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients held in the emergency department or adjacent observation areas while awaiting admission or disposition
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient status, and promptly escalate clinical concerns
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, implement treatment plans, and document care accurately
• Care for patients with a broad range of medical-surgical and telemetry conditions
• Collaborate with emergency, medical-surgical, telemetry, and interdisciplinary teams to support safe patient transitions
• Float to medical-surgical and telemetry units when needed while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Educate patients and families and contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care
