Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710–$1,800
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• End Date: January 26, 2027
• Location: On-site in Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Call: None
• Weekends and Holidays: Not required
• Orientation: 28 hours
• Floating: May float to Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a valid compact RN license
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or comparable acute care nursing experience
• Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIHSS certification as required for the assignment
• Successful completion of the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Telemetry and medical-surgical nursing experience
• Cerner experience preferred
• Willingness to complete required clinical modules and onboarding requirements before the assignment begins
• Flu vaccination required

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients boarding in the emergency department or ASU area.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, coordinate treatments, and evaluate patient responses.
• Manage care for patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record.
• Float to Med/Surg Telemetry units when needed while maintaining high standards of patient care.
