Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg unit spanning the 3rd and 4th floors of an acute care hospital
• 57-bed unit with patient ratios up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• Serves an all-ages patient population with common diagnoses including COPD, post-op joint cases, and diabetes
• Uses MediTech EHR
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, with additional weekend hours as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating to like units possible as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPI/HWC/MAB certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across a broad range of medical-surgical cases
• Scrub color is unrestricted, though branded attire from other facilities is not permitted
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
