Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 44-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit within an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Uses Meditech EHR, experience required
• Shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required, totaling 24 weekend hours
• Floating required as needed
• On-call requirements as needed, with 30 minute to 1 hour arrival time if called in

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• Meditech EHR experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving all ages
• Facility is a Level II trauma center
• Professional attire required, scrubs of any color accepted, no casual wear or hoodies permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
