Clinic Registered Nurse (Day Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Wednesday Off

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service while assisting medical providers in the care and treatment of patients
  • Perform assigned clinical procedures and duties within the scope of practice as defined by the Iowa State Board of Nursing
  • Work cooperatively with other staff members to promote a smooth flow of work within the clinic
  • Maintain a professional office image and support efficient patient care operations

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Completion of required immunizations including MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B, TDaP, and seasonal flu vaccine (October 1 – March 31)
  • Negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold TB test within one year of start date
  • Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in a physician's office or clinic setting
  • Familiarity with clinic-based workflows and patient care coordination
