Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position. Candidates must possess an active State of HI license by the start of the assignment. Please note that holiday requests for time off are not permitted.

Shift Information

• Day or Night Shift Availability (TBD)
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation
• Must be flexible to work various shift lengths and days
• No guarantee of hours or preferred shifts

General Job Duties

The Registered Nurse will provide medical-surgical level care to patients aged 18 and over. This may include floating to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed.

Equipment Utilized

• Meditech EMR
• Pyxis
• Wound vac
• Chest tubes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or higher level of care
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred

Unit Information

• Bed size: 50
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5

Dress Code

Professional nursing attire is required. There are no specific scrub color requirements, but closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

Training and Orientation

Department-specific training and orientation will be included in the first week of the assignment.
