Join a leading acute-care hospital located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. This facility, which features 111 beds, offers a range of services including Emergency Department, Family Medicine, Orthopedic/Joint replacements, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Lab, and Diagnostic Imaging. As the largest hospital in the Tri-Cities, it is a teaching hospital surrounded by beautiful recreational landscapes, including 25 public parks and 3 golf courses, and is situated in the heart of Washington Wine Country.

This contract position for a Travel RN in Med-Surg requires a commitment to 12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:00) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role involves providing care for a patient population that includes geriatric and adult patients, with a typical patient ratio of 1:4, accommodating 1:3 for higher acuity levels. You will be working in a unit with 16 private rooms, using Paragon (McKesson) as the electronic health record system.

Position Information:

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have training in ACLS or some type of rhythm interpretation course)
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: Yes
• Weekend Hours: 2 weekend shifts required in a 2-week pay period
• Call Requirements: Yes

Must Have Skills/Experience: EKG/Cardiac Monitoring, Respiratory assessment and support, Medication titration

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: ETOH detox, Post PCI, DKA/HHS, Cardiac, GI, BIPAP
