Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Artesia, New Mexico.

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation may apply

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–5
  • Titrate drips including insulin, amiodarone, and norepinephrine per established protocols
  • Read and interpret telemetry strips using Mindray cardiac monitors
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapy (available in-house 24/7) to manage patients on BiPAP/CPAP and other respiratory equipment
  • Depending on competency, may be called upon to work in the PCU area, caring for patients on drips and invasive monitors
  • Document patient care accurately using the CPSI charting system

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry (MS-Tele) experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to titrate drips and read telemetry strips
  • Willingness to complete required facility onboarding modules prior to starting (approximately 20 hours)
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts to help fill scheduling gaps; travelers are not typically placed in charge roles

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • PCU or Step-Down unit experience
  • Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience
  • Experience maintaining intubated patients
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
