Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry for a 13-week assignment at a hospital in Atlanta, requiring NIHSS certification and 18 months of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the General Medicine telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour AM shift schedule
• May be asked to charge, so charge readiness is expected
• 13-week assignment length
• New assignments begin every Monday

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with insulin and heparin drips required
• Experience with remote telemetry/dysrhythmia treatment required
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry specialty experience within the past 3 years

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted during the assignment
