Job Title: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Job Description: Join the nursing team at St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center on the Med/Surg 6th Floor in Meridian, ID! We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on the night shift. In this 42-bed unit handling diverse medical, surgical overflow, and behavioral health boarders, you will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a supportive team environment. Contract Details:
- Target Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Shift: 3x12-hour Nights (07:00–19:30).
- Scheduling: 5 weekend shifts per 6-week period required. Scheduled by facility staff (no block scheduling).
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required.
- Systems: Proficiency with EPIC EMR is mandatory.
- Skills: Ability to read/interpret telemetry strips and manage medical drips (heparin, PCAs, morphine). Note: Candidates must be open to taking nursing students or precepting new travelers.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS required at submission.
- Radius Policy: Must reside strictly outside a 50-mile radius from Meridian (permanent address required at submittal for verification).
