**Join Our Team as a Night Shift RN in Med/Surg!** **Job Description:** - **Shift:** Nights 7PM - 7AM - **Start:** ASAP - **Rate:** Competitive pay based on experience **Required Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - BLS certification from AHA required - RN License in state of employment or compact **Scheduling Details:** - **Weekend Requirement:** - Yes, 2 to 4 shifts in a month (rotated among staff) - **On Call Requirement:** - Not required but may be asked if census rises - **Floating Requirement / Locations:** - Will float to all Med/Surg departments - **Nurse / Patient Ratio:** - 1:5-6 - **EMR Used:** - EPIC - **Dress Code:** - Grey scrubs **Key Responsibilities:** - Meet expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor side-effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources. **Job Requirements:** - **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred - **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred - **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - BLS required - RN License in state of employment or compact **Work Schedule:** - Night shift from 7PM - 7AM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
