Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift acute care position requiring EPIC EMR experience.

Details

• Acute Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care to an assigned group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient data to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote a safe and healing environment
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
