Job Requirements

• Active Maine RN license or compact state RN license
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• BSN preferred
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to safely meet the physical demands of bedside nursing
• Ability to provide required immunization and onboarding documentation

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate initial and ongoing nursing assessments
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to the care team
• Support discharge planning, education, and patient follow-up needs
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
• Participate in quality improvement and emergency preparedness efforts
