Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain effective in a stressful, fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg unit
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per plan of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Utilize unit equipment and documentation systems as part of daily workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Float occasionally to similar units as needed
