Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Strong teamwork skills, positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy acute care unit

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients with a focus on quality outcomes
• Care for post-op surgical patients and support recovery across a varied Med/Surg patient population
• Monitor and manage patients receiving cardiac drips such as amiodarone and diltiazem, as well as heparin infusions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maintain efficient patient flow and strong unit communication
• Use remote telemetry and electronic health record documentation systems to support ongoing patient assessment and care
• Contribute to a collaborative, energetic healthcare environment that welcomes traveling nurses and new team members
