Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift ENT unit position requiring GA or compact RN licensure and surgical nursing experience.

Details

• ENT unit caring for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• Covers general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head/neck surgery populations
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of relevant RN experience required
• Skilled surgical nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Care for surgical patients including tracheostomy and laryngectomy management
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited, with stricter limits around holidays
