Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Med/Surg for an ENT inpatient unit requiring GA or compact RN license and skilled surgical nursing experience.

Details

• Hospital-based ENT unit caring for general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head/neck surgery patients
• Patient population includes those with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• 12-hour AM shifts
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of relevant nursing experience required
• Skilled surgical nursing experience required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to patients recovering from general, bariatric, and head/neck surgeries, including management of tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
