Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent telemetry nursing or med-surg experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner preferred, but not required
• Ability to successfully complete onboarding requirements, including a dysrhythmia exam
• Strong assessment, telemetry interpretation, and medication administration skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult telemetry and med-surg patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patients and families with clear communication and education
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, flexibility, and teamwork during night shifts
• Adapt to a dynamic acute care environment while providing excellent patient-centered care
