Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Arcata, California.
Job Description & Requirements

Requirements
- Experienced in Med-Surg and PCU
- Must be comfortable flexing between departments as needed
- Active WA RN license required
- Willing to work through the upcoming holiday season
- Minimal RTO preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, quality nursing care to Med-Surg/PCU patients
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses
- Provide patient and family education
- Follow infection control, isolation, and standard precaution procedures
- Safely operate PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg equipment and troubleshoot as needed
- Complete physician orders accurately and promptly
- Report critical lab values to physicians
- Provide accurate shift-to-shift and interdepartmental communication
- Maintain emergency carts, rooms, and supplies
- Complete required documentation and other duties as assigned
