Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Butte, MT. This role is ideal for RNs who are confident in acute care settings and comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- On-Call: Possible
- Floating: Required within scope (based on unit needs)

- Patient Population: Adult + Pediatric
⚕️ Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, patient-centered care in a Med Surg setting
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care accordingly
- Provide patient and family education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support hospital standards, mission, and patient care goals
✅ Requirements
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RN License (State of Montana or Compact)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS / PALS / NRP (as applicable or preferred)
Education:
- ASN required
- BSN preferred
Experience:
- Previous Med Surg RN experience preferred
- Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients
