Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg rehabilitation unit requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Rehabilitation unit (2nd floor) within an acute care hospital setting
• 10-bed unit with 5:1 patient ratios
• Adult and geriatric patient population including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required (weekend nights are Fri/Sat)
• Occasional floating to Med/Surg as needed by the hospital
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Omnicell equipment and Meditech EHR

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Rehabilitation experience, including GG scoring documentation, preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide acute rehabilitation nursing care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
• Collaborative, team-oriented unit culture
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
