**Exciting Opportunity for Day Shift Med/Surg RN!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic Med Surg team and make a profound impact on patient care. - Position: RN: Med Surg - Shift: Day Shift, 0630 to 1830 - Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional patient care within the RN scope of practice. - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored care plans. - Monitor and reassess patients, reporting findings to the appropriate providers. - Administer medications, IV therapy, and interventions accurately and timely. - Document all care seamlessly in the electronic health record (Cerner). - Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and follow-up care. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. **Essential Qualifications:** - Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience required. - Previous traveler experience preferred. - Cerner EHR/EMR experience is a must. - Graduate of an accredited RN program. - Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain in good standing. - AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. **Work Environment and Physical Requirements:** - Work in a fast-paced hospital setting, facing moderate noise and frequent interruptions. - Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and assisting patients. - Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of care. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
