• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Prior travel RN experience preferred
• Current RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS preferred for occasional pediatric patients
• Strong IV skills and telemetry monitoring experience
• Comfortable with accurate documentation and organized workflow
• Positive, professional, team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to medical-surgical patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, orthopedic, general surgery, and urology cases
• Monitor telemetry and support timely recognition of changes in patient status
• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Perform IV therapy and other core bedside nursing skills as needed
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain thorough patient records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Adapt to float needs while maintaining excellent patient care standards
• Support a 45-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
