**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical!** **Job Description:** - **Start Date:** November 30th - **Location:** Local applicants preferred (within 75 miles) **Position Requirements:** - Minimum of **2 years of experience** in Medical/Surgical nursing with stroke stepdown experience - Proven **travel experience** required - **Skills Checklist** must match specialty - Valid **driver's license** with address matching demographics - Current **AHA BLS** and **NIHSS** certifications required - NIH certification can be obtained prior to start - **NURSYS Report** for license verification with **ACTIVE NY License** and all active RN licenses - Include **RTO** (Request Time Off) at the time of submission - **EMR Experience:** EPIC **Unit Information:** - **Unit:** Medical/Surgical Stroke Stepdown Patients - **Shift:** 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling not guaranteed) - **Floating:** Required - **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue - **Common Diagnoses:** Stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med/surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues - **Specialty Equipment:** IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes - **Patient Demographics:** Adults - **Number of Beds in the Unit:** 64 --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
