Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a WA State/Compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Med/Surg unit at a hospital setting
• Day/evening shift, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week, 0700-1930
• Required to float as a sitter
• May float between Mares and Central Campuses in rotation
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Charge experience preferred

Additional Information

• Coordinate and provide high quality patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
• Document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Conduct holistic ongoing assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Teach patients and families relevant health information
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment per hospital and unit policies
• Adhere to Confluence Health policies, unit standards, and the Washington Nurse Practice Act
