Registered Nurse - ICU Travel Position

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in a critical care setting. This assignment requires expertise in a variety of ICUs, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care units (PCCU). The ideal candidate will be comfortable and competent in caring for ICU patients, including those in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in various critical care environments.
• Float to different ICUs as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Perform nursing assessments and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in competency tests and skills assessments as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Previous travel nurse experience is required.
• Must have experience in level I trauma center.
• Experience floating to a variety of ICUs is highly desired.
• Current RN license is required.

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with a weekly commitment of 48 hours available.
