Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Float Pool position requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• Float Pool position within a hospital setting
• May float to Medical Surgical, Surgical, Medical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac, or Neuro Trauma Spine units
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• Flexibility to switch to day shift may be required
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact), CO or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS, all AHA certs must not expire prior to start
• 1+ years of RN experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to support patient recovery
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
