Description

American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Med/Surg Nights position requiring a ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Work in the Med Surg General unit of a hospital setting
  • 13-week travel assignment on night shift
  • Shift hours are 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (ME or Compact) required at time of consideration
  • BLS certification required; non-AHA certifications accepted for consideration but AHA certification must be completed prior to start
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required

Additional Information

  • Provide general medical-surgical nursing care to patients
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) will be considered local, and local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
  • Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at the time of consideration
  • RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
  • Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
