Job Title: Travel RN – Med Surg
Location: Pagosa Springs, CO
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Day Shift (6:15 AM – 6:45 PM) | 3x12s
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other treatments.
- Monitor patient conditions, perform reassessments, and communicate changes to providers.
- Complete accurate documentation in Cerner EHR.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Cerner EHR experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- BLS (AHA)
